Megami turned around as she heard Cristina sharply intake breath. Things seemed to go in slow motion, from when Alea's left side of scales disappeared, to where Cristina started to bleed, to where she fell off the dragon. Megami's long, Occlumency-protected mind was broken open by the calling of her name. Only Cristina would have been able to do that, she thought, as Cristina started to slip off the dragon. The time seemed to stand still, each breath taking an hour, each movement equaling a mile, each heartbeat bumping slower...slower...and slower.... Megami placed a cold hand on her forehead, her mind being pentrated for the first time in almost a year. It felt like her skull was being ripped in two, like something was eating her brains. It felt like she was going to die if she took another breath, for the oxygen could no longer reach her mind...All she could hear was her name being called, over and over again, by a shrill, panicked voice. A day seemed to pass in the time it took for Cristina's body to slip off of Alea's smooth body. She was hanging on by an inch, and one breath later, she slipped. The time seemed to click back on like a lightswitch, and so did Megami's mind. "Go!" She shouted, and Brenna sped towards the ground faster than the timeless house which life represents, which was now falling through the sky. Brenna swooped exactly below Cristina, and then flew back up to where Nyroc and Emily were helping Alea to move along, Emily's face stark white. Alea just seemed to be floating along in the air. Gliding, like she was in a trance. Her eyes were glossy; her mouth hanging slightly open; her breath coming out in short gashes. She looked barely alive, and had to be steered in the right direction, slowly, by Nyroc. Megami quickly put a sheild of lightning around them which the halflings could not again penetrate. That way, they were able to move as slowly as they needed, back to The Crusade. They took Alea to the dragon's den, where they saw Sal. "SAL! Help! Quick, Cristina needs help. We'll explain what happened when we get her into the castle, come on!" They left Alea there with one of the ancients, and ran out of the dragon's den and into the castle, Megami using Incarcerous on Cristina's body to make it float along like a balloon behind them. They ran down the hall and through the trapdoor, Megami and Emily explaining to Sal what had happened in a few, panty breaths. They were still both surprisingly pale-faced after the incident. They hadn't talked on the whole, slow route back to The Crusade, too petrified at the thought of what had happened to Cristina and Alea. And who knows how much worse their situation could've gotten in all the time it took to get back here? Sal burst through the door, breaking it, when Hilary tried to ask him for the password. He rushed to a bed, Megami, Cristina (floating), and Emily trailing directly behind him. The 4 people crowded together on the bed moved out of the way as fast as they could, and they laid Cristina down, letting Hilary take over.

Her breath came in sharp gasps that weren't too frequent, scaring most everyone around her, and every time Hilary tried to touch her, she wasn't able too, Cristina's skin was too hot for it. Feverish times a million.
"Megami. The coi. White. Water." was what she said, her slight body thrashing on the bed, soaking the sheets with the white blankets. Alea roaring in pain, crimson blood glittering off her ice coloured scales. Help was needed, desperatly. Within a few minutes, she would die. The fish was the only thing keeping her alive, even if it wasn;t by much. Some how, the three were connected. And for some reason, the skelo-dragons weren't able to consume them. For whatever reason, they never figured out.

Megami and Emily were sitting on a bed nearby, trying not to look over. "I noticed something when it happened...." Megami said, her voice faltering near the end of the sentence, sounding like death as the soft words flowed out of her mouth. "How?" Emily managed to ask, looking like each word was forced, like she wasn't paying attention to what Megami said and was just saying and just asked any question. Her eyes were staring straight ahead at the wall, expressionless and dry. "I--Well, I think that..." Megami said, clearing her throat and trying to strengthen her voice. "That maybe...Well, you know, it was only the left side of each of them...Maybe the right side, the black one...Fish...If it's still kept alive...Maybe...I dunno, maybe we can just heal her wound here, and bring the black fish near her...Maybe it'll help." "Maybe...yeah." Emily looked more alert now, and went over to where Cristina was. Megami followed her. "You stay here with her, try to heal it. If it doesn't work, well...We'll figure something out. I'll go get the black fish. Don't worry, I won't get caught." She adds at the others' looks. Emily nods, and they both look at Cristina's wound. They were both highly used to death by now. Too used to it, in fact. So it might seem strange that they looked scared, or anything other than calm. But when it was happening to a friend, it was different. They needed that black fish. It might be the only thing that could help her, now. She and Brenna exited the castle again, this time walking on foot in the desert; It was too risky to attempt flying. She couldn't believe what had just happened. It sounded so unlikely. But then again, everything they did was unlikely. If she and Emily hadn't been there, both Alea and Cristina would have died. In fact, if any of them were missing from each other's lives, who knows what would have happened to them? She reached the continuously crying waterfall of tears, which was crying no more. She supposed the foretold and legendary crying dragons had become like they did; So cold and distant from normal that it was impossible to cry anymore. So, the dragons, along with their hope, died. When hope dies, it is a most terrible thing. Many people have experienced it at least once in their lives. But when it occurs that once your one hope is gone and absolutely no other hopes have remained, that is when hope will truely die for a particular being. If the dragons had cried thousands of years ago, when Megami and her friends were not considered 'ancients', over losing the freedom that the dragons had once had in the world until all the evil of the land came and broke the harmony of the dragons' world, then it was no wonder that their tears would be gone and dried up by now, considering all the evil that had entered the world since then. The yin and yang, white and black fish, represent the good and evil in the world. But they also represent the harmony that dragons owned between the two before that humans came and invaded their land. When the white fish was killed, one of the more ancient dragons (not one of the skeletal dragons, just one that was around when the waterfall was fully crying), lost its left side's (yin's) scales. So did the rider, but more, their body parts inside became twisted, and protruded from the left side of their body, stabbing through organs, tearing throguh layers and layers of tissue. Megami couldn't understand why it had only effected Alea and Cristina, and not herself, Brenna, Nyroc and Emily, as well. Maybe because Cristina and Alea were the only ones who saw the fish being eaten. Megami stepped up to the waterfall, and looked down. The black fish had stopped moving, and was only wagging its fins; Not swimming. Megami was confused, but under any circumstances got a small tank filled with pure, fresh water (as was the waterfall, fresh, not salt), and scooped the little fish up into it. After they made sure they had it and everything, she and Brenna proceeded back up to the castle and entered The Crusade's room.

Emily was cold, pertruded, as though she'd been forgotten. Her mind had closed, and her feelings had left.
All except one. Anger. It filled both Emily, and Nyroc, and the site of Cirstina, and Alea made it burn.
Yin, had been nearly destroyed, and without Yin, Yang cannot exist. Emily stood, and placed her head on the cold wall, wishing her mind to replace this emptyness, to hide these burdens.
It was Yang's time, to avenge. Emily stood. Megami could not remove the black koi, for if she did...she would put Nyroc, and Emily's life in danger.
So she'd have to work against Megami. A bitter request, but it had to be done. As Megami walked back into the room, Emily saw Yang.
"How dare you!" She snarled, her eyes burning, angrily. "You do should never remove Yang from a spiritual place! That could that could-" She was silence, as anger took over. "Where is Yin!" She screamed, grabbing the tank harshly away from Megami. "Where is Yin!" She yelled again, and ran out, Nyroc waiting behind, knowing what they were going to do.

"Well, if it comes to that...Accio yang!" The tank full of water and now swimming fish flew back into the room, tons of water spilling on the way. Megami could hear footsteps running back to the room, pounding heavily on the cobblestone floor outside. She shut the door quickly with her wand and cast a spell which would protect it for a whole 10 minutes. "If this is how it has to be...." Megami said to herself. "Let's go." She turned to the others, and, with a wave of her hand, teleported them all to another room in the castle. It was a nicer room, with more beds, and carpeting. The carpet had mold growing stifly in it and was ripped and torn, but was still a carpet. She then went back to the old room and teleported the fridge to the new one. For the 10 seconds she was back in the old room, she could hear Emily pounding at the door, screaming to be let in. She was using her fire powers, and every other power she could possibly think of. But nothing would work. Megami felt bad for doing this to Emily, but it had to be done in order to save lives. She went back upstairs and placed the tank of water and fish on the nightstand. The fish was swimming happily, but seemed to be misdirected without the white fish. It swam closer to the front of tank, and Megami placed her face close to it, making fishy faces. "Don't worry, it'll be okay. I'm not gonna hurt you. No one will anymore if you're under our protection. I just wanna see if your presence will help Cristina. You remember her, don't you, Yang?" The fish wagged its tail and swam around the tank a few times again. Megami stood up straight and took out her wand, ready to place a few decorations in the tank for Yang. She put in a clump of seaweed, a big sea shell, and a sunken ship. The fish swimmed happily inside the shell and disappeared. Megami turned back to the others. "Well, what are we going to do? We have to get the white fish back." Before they could answer, Megami heard a loud BANG downstairs, probably Emily breaking the old door open. Next, Emily would be at the bloodfilled door, which would be easy to get passt. Then, she would see that they had left and would probably start all hell. "Yeah...I don't think I should leave...." Megami said slowly. "But, what do you think we should do?" "We'll take care of it." Said Isabel bravely. "You can go and search for the white fish. But you can't just go search every nook and cranny in the desert. You have to have an idea of where to go." Megami thought for a moment. Isabel, Eden and Lacey may be pathetic, but only to Megami, Emily and Cristina. Not to the other ancients here. Maybe they would be able to keep Emily out of the room until Megami returned. Just maybe.... "All right. Well, where should I go? The halfling was flying near dragon's spine and the waterfall...I didn't see it anywhere near the waterfall, though...." "Go check back in the valley and around the dragon's spine first. Maybe you should go back to the oasis. But don't get caught, or all of our asses will be on the line." Said Eden. Megami rolled her eyes. It must've been the 10th time she'd heard that all day. "Maybe the halflings went back there, it's near enough. And that's where they capture people like us, so it's almost definate that they're there." "Okay...Well, how do I tell them apart to know which one took Yin?!" "That's something you'll have to figure out from memory." Said Hilary, sneering. "Well, that'll be easily...." Megami said thoughtfully. The things were ugly enough to recall in a second.

Emily pounded on the door, throwing everything she had at it, but failed miserably. As Yang 'swam' back to Megami as she accio'd it, Emily could feel her lungs tighten as the Yang was out of water for a few seconds.
Megami was killing her, Megami didn't understand. Yang was Nyroc, was her. This had been figured out by Cristina and her so long ago, when they had been searching for Megami when she disappeared...so long indeed. As she broke the door down, she could feel the Yang becoming distant, still angry. Yang was never truely happy without Yin, it swam in anger in revenge in desperation.
She walked back to Cristina, and kneeled. "Megami has taken Yang." Her voice was hoarse, and she licked her dry lips. They were stealing a part of Nyroc, a part of her, if only they knew...if only they truely knew.
"What do I do..." Emily asked helplessy at the silenced Cristina. She had always followed her, had looked to her for advice, for wisdom. Emily had only been good at fighting, at argueing and creating hell, as yang was. No, Cristina was wise, and was also strong, like yin. Together they were almost undefeatable. So without Cristina and Alea, Nyroc and Emily were lost. Desperatly lost. The only thing that came to mind was hatred, revenge, and hell. Just as yang was without yin. Evil.

Megami left Brenna with the others, and headed out in the wilderness by herself. It didn't scare her. She just needed a quick escape out of the dragon's spine if she got caught. No way in hell would she be going back to the prison. It was deathly hot outside that day. She needed to get done quick, before Emily was able to search every room within the castle for their new hideout. She didn't need to worry about dehydration; She was practically a two-legged camel, being the water elemental. She had to search for the oasis, as it was beginning of a sand storm, and made it difficult to see. She used libra once again, and located the oasis, far on her left. She turned and ran towards it, almost running out of breath, but able to replenish easily. The sand was deep, and she was tripping; the wind churned the sand upward, distorting her vision and burning her skin in the slightest way. She reached the oasis and paused to take a breath, her hands on her knees, staring into the cave ahead. She looked into the shallow water of the oasis, and at the palm trees surrounding it. It wasn't like she would the fish or dragon here. She would have to enter the cave again. "You have Assoil and Vajra, now, remember. You could just use the holy magic and damaging magic against the creatures inside the cave this time. Then, they won't be able to catch you." Megami heard Brenna's voice say. "Oh yeah...." Megami entered the cave, this time ready. As soon as she entered, like before, hundreds of dark shapes appeared around here, chanting the same thing about taking her powers. She blocked them out of her mind rapidly, and thought of the most holy thing she could possibly think of. It was difficult, because they were taking over her mind, deteriorating her senses as they tried to grab her. She closed her eyes and thought of only good, happy, holy memories. She ignored their cold, halfling hands as they reached from under their cloaks to grab her arms. She shook off the presence of fear, and shut down her mind into a meditative state. Their touch seemed to disappear; The sense of fear did, too. Was it because she was in a meditative form, or because of something else? She opened her bravely and saw none of them there. Instead, just the passage into the rest of the cave. She walked sitffly the rest of the way, into a large room, with only sleeping halflings filling it up. She wondered why more hooded halflings hadn't tried to attack her on her way to this room of the cave, but pushed the thought out of her mind and went to examine the sleeping halflings in this room. They didn't notice her, but she certainly noticed their putrid breath as she walked by their nostrils. She entered a pit beneath all the sleeping halflings. It was a damp pit, with at least 3 inches of water. The halflings had been sleeping on a bridge above it. A bridge leading from the pathway of the entrance. The pit was dark, and made Megami squint to see everything. In the pit, there were hundreds of small, white and black fish swmming in the water. "Oh, awesome...." Megami said, very, very quietly. She sighed softly and started to search for the fish. One caught her eye quickly, however, and made her job more easy. It was the one swimming in circles. "Yes!" Megami said, a little too loudly, waking up the halflings. "Shit!" She screamed, wrapping the fish in a bowl-shaped ball of water that formed in her hand. She ran out of the hideout, and back into the desert, the water and fish in her hand staying stationary, the fish wagging its small, white tail. She started to trip over the sand again, the sand-storm now ferocious. She screamed in agony as she fell, face-first, without an idea of what to do next. The halflings were gaining in on her. They would take her back to the prison, and she would be tortured once again, Yin being killed, along with Cristina and Alea. Her foolishness would kill many lives once again, her foolishness would bring the destruction of the earth. Why did it have to be this way? As she was laying in the sand, the halflings had trouble finding her small body. As she lay in the sand, her mind started to drift, letting the heat and wind take over. She started to breathe heavily, and started to think that it would be a pleasure to be captured by the halflings. Maybe they would kill her. Maybe, then, just maybe, it would be all over for her. She knew it was selfish of her, but death would be a great relief compared to all she had went through since the moment of her birth. As she lay there, she imagined how it used to be...In Hogwarts, nothing to worry about...Spend each day with friends, doing nothing but sitting by the lake...The only thing they had to worry about were exams...Maybe fly over the grounds, feeling the breeze whip through their hair and aroudn their face, breathe in the fresh air, that was all but disintegrated now.... As she thoguht of flying her broom once again, playing as an amazing chaser for the Gryffindor team, she got sprung back to life. "Accio Firebolt!" She stood up and screamed this, pointing her wand in the direction of Hogwarts. The halflings were able to spot her and the fish now, but she didn't care, as she heard her old, faithful as ever firebolt ripping through the sandstorm, stopping dead in front of her and floating, waiting for its old master to climb back on. Which she did, and flew hgih above the halflings and dragon spine, zooming back to the hideout with Yin in her hand. She felt all of her old flying skills return instantly. Her broom was VERY old now. But someone must have preserved it, because it was still in the best condition it had ever been. She made it back to the hideout all in one piece, and raced up the stairs of the castle, scared to see if anything had happened while she was away.

When Megami walked in, she noticed a figure at the end of the hall. It turned around, and she saw that it was Emily, looking terrified. Megami walked over to her and calmly said, "Here. You think I'm an idiot? I know you have to take care of yin, you told me. But you were crazy when yin was taken away. I had to get it for you because you weren't safe. Are you calm enough now? You can do what you need to with yang, to connect the two again. Calm down."

Emily still kneeled by Cristina, and Nyroc was still by Alea. It was amazing how lost she was without one friend, and she could feel it was effecting Nyroc as well, she did all she could to hold Nyroc back from killing, and she did all she could to keep herself from it as well.
"Cristina..." She rocked back and forth slowly, trying to keep her mind occupied, keep her body moving.
She didn't hear Megami walk in.

Emily stood up, Yin in hand, and walked over to the mislead Yang. She stood in front of it, and slowly reached her hand into the bowl, grabbing Yin and lifting it out of the water, only to quickly, but carefully place it in the tank with Yang.
She watched silently, as Yin and Yang began to form a circle.
"They can't stay here much longer, they must return to the spiritual pond." Emily said, her voice lifting a little.

"Okay. But the place needs to be protected. It's not safe now." She was cut off as they heard a gasp behind them, and Cristina sat up in bed, gasping. She looked around, as though she were unaware of her surroundings. She looked up, saw Megami and Emily, and seemed to be back to normal. The rip in her skin healed, and the blood disappeared, as if it had never happened. "Where's Alea?" Was the first thing she asked. "In the dragon's den, with Nyroc and Brenna. We'd better go and get them and get back to the Kalihl mission." "I'll walk down with you to give you the concentrated dark magic. While you're on the way there, you can go and put the fish back in the waterfall. And Lacey, Eden and Isabel can stay here. We might need them, and it's too dangerous for anyone except for you 3 to go past here." Said Sal. "Okay." Megami responded. Salvino walked down with them to the dragon's den, where they found Alea safe and well. She looked much like Cristina did when she woke up; confused and tired. Sal got the concentrated dark magic package from a hidden corner in the room, and tied it to the fleshy skin behind Brenna's neck. As Megami looked at it, she could just feel a connection between it and herself. Like the dark magic surging through each of them was begging to be released on the world.

They reached the waterfall once again, and the 6 of them put a sheild of all the elements around the waterfall, so no other halflings, or anything else, for that matter, could enter. They get their dragons and flew high above the dragon's spine, trying not to be seen by any of the halflings, which proved difficult. They twisted and spinned, ducked and looped, but there were still halflings everywhere. "The situation's getting really bad...." Said Brenna, seeming to be in a reverie. "Yeah...Don't worry, we'll get the info. off of Kalihl, whoever that is." "Yeah. At least Sal didn't let Isabel, Eden and Lacey come this time." "I know, it's too dangerous for them. Lacey was pissed, though. Last time I saw Isabel she was eatin' like a cow." Brenna laughed, in a way that flames shot out of her mouth. They were hidden behind the clouds, but the flame went right through them, and Megami could just sense the halflings moving closer. "Shit! Let's go!" Brenna dived below, just as 3 halflings through above them, circling in the sun reflected off the clouds. Megami squinted and saw the halfing's strangeness, for the first time, in its full form. It had a twisted form of the human body, with wings protruding from its back, making it look as though the spine was fractured, and giving the creature a sort of backward hunch. It had long claws on both its fingers and feet, its body being completely unclothed. It was very muscular, however. They all had the same, slited black tongue. The full form added on a long, dragon's tail, dragon eyes, and a dragon's gruesome, disfigured head. Megami lookeddown to Brenna's back, not wanting to see any more of the twisted creatures above. They flew onward, near the ground so it was easier to see where they were heading than up in the clouds, and sped over the desert quickly. Soon they reached the harbor. As they flew above it, Megami took in the scenes. It was a wide opening to an ocean, the Atlantic, to be exact. The weather was slightly breezy, sunny and wonderful. First few days of spring. It was beginning to drizzle, however, but Megami didn't mind. It was a very nice relief after being locked up in a dark, dreary, sunless, damp prison for 5 months. She just couldn't hold in her joy, and started to laugh as they sped through the air, looking for the hanged dwarf. Halflings and weird talking people couldn't make her go dillusional. That was one of the good things about being someone like her, Emily or Cristina. You begin to stop worrying so much, go with the flow and just keep saving the world day after day. You find it impossible to cry anymore. There's too much fighting to deal with to worry about crying. "If your enemies see you cry, they will kill you." That was another reason and a popular saying. They reached the bar, left their dragons outside, and entered. There were mostly men in the bar. So it was impossible to walk down the aisle to the barkeep at the other side without getting some annoying looks. As soon as she reached him (praying he didn't speak like the rest), he turned around and spoke first. "Of which mode need I to avail past you, cyprians?" "We're not cyprians, you old dildo!" Megami couldn't help but yell it out. "Ah, you're one of the ancients. And the two slovenly women behind you?" "Thank God you speak English...." Cristina said. "Yes, they're 'ancients', too." Said Megami, who was starting to get offended by the name. "Where's Kalihl? We have a package for him from Salvino and Hilary." She lowered her voice as she said this. "Right this way." The barkeep got suddenly serious, and led them to meet Kalilh, who was a very...cough...robenesque...cough...man. "Yes?" He asked, seeming to take in large amounts of oxygen with each breath. He probably needed to, the old lard ball. "Here. A package of concentrated dark magic for you, sir." Megami said as politely as she could, holding up the bag. "Ah, yes...Thank you. The Crusade must trust you well, to send 3 girls here with dark magic. They usually just send Salvino or Hilary. What's the deal with you 3? Some other breed of ancients, are you not?" Kalihl asked, seeming to inhale all of the oxygen in the room. Megami almost had enough guts to advise him to stop talking so much or they all might die from a lack of air, but held her tongue for once; he might eat her. Or worse, sit on her. "Yes, we're ancients. And they sent us because we're the only ones powerful enough to stop all of this. Would you be able to give us any information on the halflings? Or their leader, or anything? Sal told us you would." "Questions like that could get a person killed, eh? Well, 'Sal' needs to learn how to keep his mouth shut for once in his stinking, pathetic life. And I do have the information you seek...However, you will have to do a little job for me, to prove your worth." Megami was busy laughing to herself, thinking Haha, he's canadien. 'Eh?' Hehe. "Wait, what?" She asked, with a bemused expression set on her face. She hadn't been paying attention at all. "I said, you moron, I need you to prove yourselves by doing a little task for me." "I'm tired of proving myself! I've done it enough. I think being chosen to come here is damn proof enough of my power. Maybe I'm not worthy enough if you obviously can't see it by now." She turns to walk out. "Let's go, Cristina, Emily." They hesitate. "I said, let's go." She says with fury, her hands sizzling with lightning. "You're right. You're not worthy. A real warrior and heroine would do the task and get the information she needs. Unless you don't care about saving the world once again, Megami. Yes, I know your name. And yours, Cristina and Emily. Besides the fact that she just used them to order you into leaving. I know how powerful you all are. I just need to see it for myself. You see, a real warrior and heroine doesn't need to prove anything. They just need to do what is required for their job and shut up about it. They'll already know that they can complete the task in a matter of minutes, so what's the point in complaining? None." Megami closes her eyes as she listens to Kilahl's breathy, deep voice speak. She sighed very audibly. "What's the task?" She asked, turning around and opening her eyes with an expressionless face.

Emily watched as the fat man breathed. "I can't light a fire in here you're stealing all my oxygen!" She coughed, over dramatic, and dropped to the floor.
She stood up, Cristina and her laughing. "Jeez, did you eat a whole dragon?" Cristina asked, in a serious tone, which only made Emily laugh harder.
The man only looked at them. "He's making us do the tasks for him because he can no longer get off the seat, the chair has sunken into the fat!" Emily blurted out, and laughed, tapping her knee with her hand.

Kalihl looked at them angrily, the barkeep looking as though he could barely hold in his laughter anymore. He seemed to get distracted from the situation, but Megami brought him back to it roughly. "Okay, look donut hole, will you tell us the task already?" "You insolent little brat!" "What? You should just tell us it already so you can get back to floatin' around here lookin' all hot and heavy." Kalihl seemed very angry, and started to turn red. "Just say it already!" "Fine!" Kalihl screamed. "One of my colleagues, who also works for the Headmaster, went to the power site to work with the computers there, doing something, I don't know, but he got caught by a group of halfings and Hora-quan, and he needs help out. Without him, I don't have any link to inside the school. You have to go out there." "Wait, we destroyed the Hora-quan!" "Yes, thousands of years ago, but it seems that the strongest have still survived! And they live on to this day, on earth. Now go!"

"Hey, by yelling at us you've burned a lotta calories. Good job tubby." Emily winks and puts her thumb up.
Emily skipped out. "So how we bustin' dis fool out?" Emily placed with a small fire ball on the tip of her finger. "'Cuz you know, I'm all about saving, but it's the way we save him that's important."

"Yeah...We've never been to the power site there, buuuuut I'm guessing it's something electrical, so I can come in handy...Let's just hope we don't run into many hora-quan or halflings." Megami says, as she starts to use libra, locating the power site's location. It was a little north of dragonheart. They got outside, and boarded their dragons once more. They flew high, high above the harbor, and jetted off passed the harbor, and back through the desert, the temperature changing so dramatically it made Megami start to cough. She hid her face between Brenna's scales as they picked up speed, going faster and faster through the dry-wind filled desert. They flew past the school, high up enough so that none of the students below would notice them. They flew past it and reached a large cliff on the other side, descending sharply into a mass of equipment. Wells, power engines and other things Megami didn't know the purpose of. She supposed this was the power site, considering the large sign that read in bright, red letters 'POWER SITE', above one of the engines. They all flew down to the power site and started to walk with their dragons, trying to figure out where the person Kalihl had sent them to look for was trapped. The Power Site was large and very mechanical. It was cold and so distant from magic and wonder that Megami started to think they'd flown way beyond a few miles from Dragonheart. It started to make her think that the wizarding world really was a lot better than the muggles', which was so full of electricity and emptyness. Maybe it really was better to be apart of this dangerous, but interesting and heart-filled, world.
